The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by sections 121(1) and 189(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 19741 and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations may be cited as the Consumer Credit (Realisation of Pawn) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 1st May 1998.

The Consumer Credit (Realisation of Pawn) Regulations 19832 shall be amended, in regulation 3, by the substitution, for “£50” in each place where it appears, of “£100”.
