The Education (Direct Grant Schools) (Revocation) Regulations 1998
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Direct Grant Schools) (Revocation) Regulations 1998, and shall come into force on 16th February 1998.

The Regulations specified in Schedule 1 to these Regulations are revoked to the extent specified in that Schedule.
3.
The Regulations specified in Schedule 2 to these Regulations are amended to the extent specified in that Schedule.

SCHEDULE 2Consequential Amendment
“(d)
pay the whole or any part of the tuition fees, boarding or lodging fees and expenses payable in respect of children attending schools at which fees are payable;”.
These Regulations revoke the Direct Grant Schools Regulations 1959 and the Direct Grant Grammar Schools (Cessation of Grant) Regulations 1975 (both of which are spent) and the Regulations which amended them. They also contain consequential revocations and amendments to the provisions of other Regulations.
