The Local Government and Rating Act 1997 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1998
Citation1.
This Order may be cited as the Local Government and Rating Act 1997 (Commencement No. 4) Order 1998.
Commencement of minor and consequential amendments and repeals2.
The following provisions of the Local Government and Rating Act 1997 shall come into force on 18th March 1998—
(a)
section 33, in so far as it relates to the provisions mentioned in paragraphs (b) and (c) below;
(b)
in Schedule 3, paragraph 17; and
(c)
Signed by authority of the Secretary of State
This Order brings into force on 18th March 1998 paragraph 17 of Schedule 3 to the Local Government and Rating Act 1997 (amendment of section 36 of the Representation of the People Act 1983) and minor repeals in the Local Government Act 1972.
The following provisions of the Local Government and Rating Act 1997 have been brought into force by commencement order made before the date of this Order.
