Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities formerly managed by West Glamorgan District Health Authority2 resulting from the establishment of Glan-y-Mor National Health Service Trust3, having consulted Morgannwg Health Authority4 and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Glan-y-Môr National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 31st March 1998.

In this Order—

  • “the Authority” means Morgannwg Health Authority;

  • “the Trust” means Glan-y-Môr National Health Service Trust;

  • “the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Authority and the Trust on 31st March 1997, which schedule has been signed on behalf of the Authority and the Trust.

Transfer of trust property2

On 31st March 1998 the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.
