Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of facilities previously managed by the former Camberwell Health Authority and now managed by the Bethlem and Maudsley National Health Service Trust2, having consulted the King’s College Hospital Special Trustees3 and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Bethlem and Maudsley National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 8th December 1998.

In this Order–
“the Special Trustees” means the King’s College Hospital Special Trustees;
“the Trust” means the Bethlem and Maudsley National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means the item specified in part B of the Certificate of Authentication of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Special Trustees and the Trust on 15th August 1996; which certificate has been signed on behalf of both the Special Trustees and the Trust.
Transfer of trust property2
On 8th December 1998 the trust property shall be transferred from the Special Trustees to the Trust.
