Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Leeds Community and Mental Health Services Teaching National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 19th October 1998.

“(e)
to provide and manage under section 5(1)(b) of the Act hospitals and other establishments and facilities in the area of Leeds Health Authority associated with the reprovision of hospital accommodation and services from High Royd’s Hospital, Menston, Ilkley, LS29 6AQ and Roundhay Wing, St. James’s University Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds LS9 7TF (including the management of teaching and research facilities) and there to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services and community health services.”

This Order amends the Order (“the Establishment Order”) which established the Leeds Community and Mental Health Services Teaching National Health Service Trust.
The Establishment Order is amended to confer on the trust the purpose specified in section 5(1)(b) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, namely to provide and manage hospitals or other establishments or facilities in the area of Leeds Health Authority.
