2. The provisions of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997 not already in force(1) shall come into force on 3rd August 1998.
Section 9 came into force on Royal Assent; sections 5 and 8 were brought into force on 11th June 1998 (S.I. 1998/1336).
