Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of establishments and facilities previously managed by the Lincoln and Louth National Health Service Trust2, having consulted that Trust and the Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust3 in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 24th February 1998.

In this Order—

  • “the first Trust” means the Lincoln and Louth National Health Service Trust;

  • “the second Trust” means the Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust;

  • “the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by, agreed upon by and signed on behalf of the first and second Trusts on 27th November 1997.

Transfer of trust property2

On 24th February 1998 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust to the Second Trust.

This Order transfers to Lincoln District Healthcare National Health Service Trust on 24th February 1998 trust property held by Lincoln and Louth National Health Service Trust.
