Scrabster (Forward Supply Base) Harbour Revision Order 1998

Whereas the Trustees of the Scrabster Harbour Trust have applied in writing for a harbour revision order under section 14 of the Harbours Act 19641;

And whereas it appears to the Secretary of State for Scotland in pursuance of paragraph A2 of Schedule 3 to the said Act2, that the application is made in relation to a project which falls within Annex II to Council Directive 85/337/EEC3 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment and whose characteristics require that it should be made subject to an environmental assessment;

And whereas the Secretary of State has directed the applicant to supply him with the information referred to in Annex III to the Directive in accordance with that paragraph;

And whereas the Secretary of State has considered the information supplied under that paragraph;
