Whereas a draft of this Order has, in accordance with section 120(5) of the Courts and Legal Services Act 19901, been laid before and approved by each House of Parliament:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of a recommendation made by the Lord Chancellor and in the exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 29(2) of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Institute of Legal Executives Order 1998 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
Authorised Body2
The Institute of Legal Executives is hereby designated as an authorised body for the purposes of section 27 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990.
