<Text>After Order 11, rule 8 there shall be inserted the following—</Text>

<Title>Applications for interim relief under section 25(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982</Title>

<Text>Service of an originating summons out of the jurisdiction claiming interim relief under section 25(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 (as extended by Order in Council made under section 25(3)<FootnoteRef Ref="f00004"/>), is permissible with the leave of the Court.</Text>
</P2para>
</P2>

<Pnumber>2</Pnumber>
<P2para>
<Text>An application for the grant of leave under paragraph (1) must be supported by an affidavit stating—</Text>
<P3>
<Pnumber>a</Pnumber>
<P3para>
<Text>the grounds on which the application is made;</Text>
</P3para>
</P3>
<P3>
<Pnumber>b</Pnumber>
<P3para>
<Text>that in the deponent’s belief the plaintiff has a good claim to interim relief,</Text>

</P3>

<Pnumber>c</Pnumber>

<Text>in what place or country the defendant is, or probably may be, found.</Text>

<Text>An application claiming interim relief under section 25(1) of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 (as extended by Order in Council made under section 25(3)) shall be made by originating summons and the foregoing provisions of this Order (except rules 5, 6 and 7(2)) shall apply, with the necessary modifications, to such applications as they apply to applications for interlocutory relief in an action or proceeding in the High Court.</Text>
