The Kent and Canterbury Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1997
Citation, commencement and interpretation1.
(1)
This Order may be cited as the Kent and Canterbury Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 14th March 1997.
(2)
In this Order,
“the Authority” means the West Kent Health Authority;
“the first Trust” means the Mid-Kent Healthcare National Health Service Trust;
“the second Trust” means the Kent and Canterbury Hospitals National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means—
(a)
in the case of trust property to be transferred from the first Trust, the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the first Trust and the second Trust on 27th November 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both those NHS trusts;
(b)
in the case of trust property to be transferred from the Authority, the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the former West Kent Health Authority and the second Trust on 20th March 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both that Authority and the second Trust.
Transfer of trust property2.
On 14th March 1997 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust and the Authority to the second Trust.

This Order transfers to the Kent and Canterbury Hospitals National Health Service Trust on 14th March 1997 trust property formerly held by the Mid-Kent Healthcare National Health Service Trust and the West Kent Health Authority.
