1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the New Town (Livingston) (Transfer of Property, Rights and Liabilities) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 22nd March 1997.
(2) In this Order–
“the council” means the West Lothian Council being a council constituted under section 2 of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994(1);
“the development corporation” means the Livingston Development Corporation established by the New Town (Livingston) (Development Corporation) Order 1962(2).
