and</p></content></level></level><level class="para1" eId="article-8-3-b"><num>(b)</num><intro><p>after 31 December 1996 to</p></intro><level class="para2" eId="article-8-3-b-i"><num>(i)</num><content><p>a motor vehicle constructed or adapted to carry more than 8 passengers (exclusive of the driver), and</p></content></level><level class="para2" eId="article-8-3-b-ii"><num>(ii)</num><content><p>a local bus not so constructed or adapted.</p></content></level></level></paragraph><paragraph eId="article-8-4"><num>(4)</num><content><p>In this article “local bus”, “local service”, “scheduled express service”, “school bus” and “works bus” have the meanings given to those expressions in regulation 4 of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 1994<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00005" marker="5"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00006" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1994/1519">1994/1519</ref>.</p></authorialNote>.</p></content></paragraph></article></body></act></akomaNtoso>
