Order—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="article-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>a reference to an article or a schedule followed by a number is a reference to the article of, or the schedule to, this Order so numbered;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>“carriageway” has the same meaning as in section 329(1) of the Highways Act 1980<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00003" marker="3"><p><ref eId="c00003" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ukpga/1980/66">1980 c. 66</ref></p></authorialNote>;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-c"><num>(c)</num><content><p>causing includes permitting;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-d"><num>(d)</num><content><p>“disabled person”, “disabled person’s badge” and “disabled person’s vehicle” have the same meanings as in regulation 2(1) of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Exemptions for Disabled Persons) (England and Wales) Regulations 1986<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00004" marker="4"><p><abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00004" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1986/178">1986/178</ref> as amended by <abbr class="acronym" title="Statutory Instrument">S.I.</abbr> <ref eId="c00005" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/uksi/1991/2709">1991/2709</ref></p></authorialNote>, and “relevant position” in relation to a disabled person’s badge has the same meaning as in regulation 2A of those regulations;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-e"><num>(e)</num><content><p>“the trunk road red route clearway” means the lengths of road specified in column (2) of the table in schedule 1;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-f"><num>(f)</num><content><p>“vehicle” includes part of a vehicle; and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="article-2-g"><num>(g)</num><content><p>an entry in column (3), (4) or, (5) of an item in a schedule to this order applies to that column in subsequent items in that
