Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning) Order 1997 Revocation Order 1997 and shall come into force at 1800 hours on 6th August 1997.

This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning) Order 1997 (in so far as it remains in force) which prohibited–
fishing for or taking shellfish within the area designated in the Schedule to that Order;
movement of such shellfish out of that area; and
landing, using in the preparation or processing for supply of food of, supplying and other specified activities in relation to, such shellfish from the designated area within the United Kingdom.
The effect of this Order is to remove completely the prohibition from fishing for, taking, moving, landing, using in food production and supplying the shellfish affected by that Order, from the designated area.
