 in relation to the control of the export of goods and measures relating to trade in dual-use goods, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section hereby makes the following Regulations:

These Regulations may be cited as the Dual-Use and Related Goods (Export Control) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997 and shall come into force on 29th April 1997.

At the end of the definition of “the Decision” in regulation 2 of the Dual-Use and Related Goods (Export Control) Regulations 1996

S.I. 1996/2721, to which there are amendments not relevant to these Regulations.

there shall be added the words—

which was itself amended by Council Decision No. 97/100/CFSP of 20th January 1997

No. L367, 31.12.94, p. 8), amended by Council Decision No. 96/613/CFSP (O.J. No. L 278, 30.10.96, p. 1).

Council Decision No. 96/613CFSP has now itself been amended by Council Decision No. 97/100/CFSP. These Regulations amend the 1996 Regulations so that references to the 1994 Decision are to that Decision as amended by the 1996 Decision as itself amended by the 1997 Decision.
