Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the South Devon Health Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1996, and shall come into force on 7th April 1996.
Amendment of Establishment Order2
In Article 3 of the South Devon Health Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19903 (functions of the trust)—
a
in paragraph (1) for “section 5(1)(a)” there shall be substituted “section 5(1)(b)”;
b
for paragraph (2) there shall be substituted the following new paragraph:—

The trust’s functions shall be—
a
to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services at either or both of the following hospitals:—
i
Torbay District General Hospital, Lawes Bridge, Newton Road, Torquay, Devon TQ2 7AA;
ii
Dawlish Hospital, Barton Terrace, Dawlish, Devon;
and at any other hospital which is associated with either of those hospitals; and
b
to manage community health services from Torbay District General Hospital, Lawes Bridge, Newton Road, Torquay, Devon TQ2 7AA and to provide the associated premises.
