The Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1996

Coming into force
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(1) of the County Courts Act 19841, hereby makes the following Order:—

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 16th February 1996.

In this Order, “the 1983 Order” means the Civil Courts Order 19832 and a Schedule referred to by number alone means the Schedule so numbered in that Order.

In Schedule 1:—
a
“Alfreton” shall be deleted from its position in the second column opposite the entry for “Chesterfield” in the first column;
b
“Ilkeston” shall be deleted from its position in the second column opposite the entry for “Nottingham” in the first column;
c
“Matlock” shall be deleted from its position in the second column opposite the entry for “Derby” in the first column;
d
“Sleaford” shall be deleted from its position in the second column opposite the entry for “Boston” in the first column and
e
“Spalding” shall be deleted from its position in the second column opposite the entry for “Boston” in the first column.

In Schedule 3 the entries relating to “Alfreton”, “Ilkeston”, “Matlock”, “Sleaford” and “Spalding”3 shall be deleted
