Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities formerly managed by West Glamorgan Health Authority resulting from the establishment of the West Wales Ambulance National Health Service Trust2, having consulted that Health Authority and that Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the West Wales Ambulance National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) (No. 2) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st April 1996.

In this Order—

  • “the Authority” means West Glamorgan Health Authority;

  • “the Trust” means the West Wales Ambulance National Health Service Trust;

  • “the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Authority and the Trust on 1st February 1996, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Authority and the Trust.

Transfer of Trust Property2

On 1st April 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the Authority to the Trust.

This Order transfers to the West Wales Ambulance National Health Service Trust on 1st April 1996 trust property formerly held by West Glamorgan Health Authority.
