“the appointed day” means the date specified in Article 3 of this Order;

“arbitration application” means any application relating to arbitration made by or in legal proceedings, whether or not arbitral proceedings have commenced;

“the old law” means the enactments specified in section 107 as they stood before their amendment or repeal by the Act.
