The Industrial Tribunals (Interest on Awards in Discrimination Cases) Regulations 1996

The Secretary of State—

   being a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 in relation to measures relating to equal pay for men and women and to equal treatment for men and women in matters of employment, self-employment and vocational training2, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section,

   in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 56(5) and (6) of the Race Relations Act 19763 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and

3. 3

   in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 8(6) and (7) of the Disability Discrimination Act 19954 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf,

and with regard to regulation 7 after consultation with the Council on Tribunals, hereby makes the following regulations:
