The Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of facilities formerly managed by the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust, having consulted that trust and the Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 25th November 1996.

In this Order—

“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust and the Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust on 30th September 1996, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both NHS trusts.

Transfer of trust property2

On 25th November 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust to the Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust.

This Order transfers to the Eastbourne and County Healthcare National Health Service Trust on 1996 trust property formerly held by the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust.
