7. The following sections of the Marriage Act 1949(1) :
(a)section 46A(2) (approval of premises);
(b)section 58(3) (direction as to keeping of certified copies); and
(c)section 74 (approval of regulations).
Section 46A was inserted by the Marriage Act 1994 (c. 34), s. 1(2).
The functions under sections 58 and 74 were transferred from the Minister of Health to the Secretary of State by the Secretary of State for Social Services Order 1968 (S.I. 1968/1699), art. 2.
