The North Tees Health National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 19771 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of research facilities formerly managed by the Southmead Health Services National Health Service Trust and now managed by the North Tees Health National Health Service Trust, having consulted both of those Trusts in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the North Tees Health National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 15th August 1996.

In this Order—

“the first Trust” means the Southmead Health Services National Health Service Trust;
“the second Trust” means the North Tees Health National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the first Trust and the second Trust on 20th November 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the first Trust and the second Trust.

Transfer of trust property2

On 15th August 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust to the second Trust.

This Order transfers to the North Tees Health National Health Service Trust on 15th August 1996 trust property formerly held by the Southmead Health Services National Health Service Trust. The transfer follows a change in management responsibility for research facilities from the latter to the former Trust. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, NHS Trust Unit, Room 1N33F, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
