Coming into force
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22(4) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 19791 and having satisfied myself that the Rules made by the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting as set out in the Schedule to this Order, insofar as they relate to midwifery practice, are framed in accordance with the recommendations of the Midwifery Committee of the Council2, I hereby approve those Rules.
