Coming into force
Whereas the council of the London borough of Redbridge has applied to the Secretary of State for an order to be made under section 76 of the Road Traffic Act 19911, and the Secretary of State has consulted the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with section 76(2) of that Act:
NOW, the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 76(1) and section 77(6) of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) (Amendment) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 31st March 1995.
Interpretation2
In this Order—
“the 1984 Act” means the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19842;
“the 1991 Act” means the Road Traffic Act 1991;
“the excluded areas” means the areas in the London borough of Redbridge referred to in the Schedule to this Order; and
“the principal order” means the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) Order 19943.
Exclusions from special parking area3

The excluded areas shall cease to form part of the special parking area designated by article 3(1) of the principal order.

The modifications of the 1984 and 1991 Acts contained in articles 4 and 5 of the principal order shall cease to have effect in relation to the excluded areas.

SCHEDULEAREAS IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE CEASING TO FORM PART OF THE SPECIAL PARKING AREA
The areas to be transferred from the London borough of Redbridge to the county of Essex and the district of Epping Forest and referred to in article 4 of the Essex and Greater London (County Boundaries) Order 19934.
