The enactments mentioned in the Schedule to this Order shall have effect with the amendments specified in that Schedule.

Notwithstanding anything in articles 3 to 5 of the Schedule to this Order, there shall continue to be an officer appointed by the Secretary of State as Registrar of Independent Schools for England and an officer appointed by the Secretary of State as Registrar of Independent Schools for Wales; and separate registers shall continue to be kept, under section 70 of the Education Act 19449, of independent schools in England and of independent schools in Wales.
