This Order increases salaries payable under the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975 to Ministers, to salaried Members of the Opposition, to the Speaker of the House of Commons and to other paid office holders. The amounts specified in this Order (other than Part II of Schedule 1) are the maximum salaries payable. The actual salaries in payment may therefore be below these levels.
