Commencement of Parts I and II of the Act3

Part I (responsibility for education) and Part II (grant-maintained schools) of the Act, to the extent that they are not already in force on that date, shall come into force on 1st April 1994 for all remaining purposes.

Part I of Schedule 3 to this Order shall have effect for the purpose of making transitional provisions in connection with the provisions brought into force by this Article.
