The Welsh Principal Councils (Day of Election) Order 1994

6th November 1994
Coming into force in accordance with article 1
In exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1972(1) I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Welsh Principal Councils (Day of Election) Order 1994 and shall come into force on the day following the day on which it is made.
2. The first elections of councillors of the new principal councils in Wales shall be held on 4th May 1995.
