Coming into force

Whereas by a resolution dated 13th October 1992 Hamilton District Council adopted the Lanarkshire (Hamilton) Enterprise Zone Scheme;

And whereas advertisements in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 3(4)(c), (7) and (8) of Schedule 32 to the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 19801 were published in the Edinburgh Gazette and the Herald and the Hamilton Advertiser relating to the said Scheme; And whereas six weeks have expired since the date of the first publication of the said advertisements in the Edinburgh Gazette on 30th October 1992 and no application in relation to the said Scheme has been made under paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 32 to the said Act to the Court of Session:

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 179 of, and paragraph 5 of Schedule 32 to, the said Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
