1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Commissioners for Oaths (Fees) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 18th October 1993.
(2) In this Order “commissioner for oaths” includes a solicitor exercising the powers of a commissioner for oaths under section 81 of the Solicitors Act 1974 but does not include any person on whom the powers of commissioners for oaths are conferred by virtue only of section 113 of the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990(1).
