Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 54(1) and 61 of the Road Traffic Act 19881 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) (Great Britain) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 21st February 1990.
Amendment2

The Table in Part II of Schedule 1B of the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) (Great Britain) Regulations 19842 shall be amended as follows.

In the entry relating to item 4C in Schedule 1, for paragraph 2 in column (2) and the entries relating to that paragraph in columns (3) and (4) there shall be substituted—
2. Other vehicles propelled by spark ignition engines, with a maximum gross weight of:—
(a) not more than 2000 kg,
