Coming into force
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6 of the Mineral Workings (Offshore Installations) Act 1971 1 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consulting pursuant to section 7(1) of that Act with organisations appearing to him to be representative of those persons who will be affected, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

These Regulations may be cited as the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 17th April 1990.

The following table shall be substituted for the table set out in sub-paragraph (a) of the Schedule to the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances) Regulations 1977 2 and for the table set out in sub-paragraph (a) of the Schedule to the Offshore Installations (Fire-fighting Equipment) Regulations 1978 3:—
