The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 143(1) and 150 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Finance Act 1988 Commencement (Scotland) Amendment Order 1990.
(2) In this Order, “the principal Order” means the Local Government Finance Act 1988 Commencement (Scotland) Order 1988(2).
2. In the Table of Repeals in Schedule 5 to the principal Order (which lists the repeals in Part IV of Schedule 13 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 which come into force on 1st April 1990), the last entry relating to section 24 of the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987(3) (rebates) is hereby revoked.

This Order amends the Table within Schedule 5 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 Commencement (Scotland) Order 1988, which Table details repeals of statutory provisions that come into force on 1st April 1990, by deleting from it the reference to section 24 of the Abolition of Domestic Rates Etc. (Scotland) Act 1987 (rebates from community charges in respect of the financial year 1989-90).
