The River Ness Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1990The River Ness Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 2007reg 3 1990 No. 337 (S.33) RIVER, SCOTLAND SALMON AND FRESHWATER FISHERIES The River Ness Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1990 Made 23rd February 1990 Coming into force 5th March 1990 The Secretary of State, on application to him by the River Ness District Salmon Fishery Board, having carried out all necessary consultations, complied with all necessary procedures and considered all representations and objections as required by paragraphs 3, 4 and 7 of Schedule 1 to the Salmon Act 1986, as applied by section 8(5) of that Act, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 8 of that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations: Title and commencement 1 These Regulations may be cited as the River Ness Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 5th March 1990. Specification of baits and lures and areas of application 2 Natural prawns and shrimps (whether fresh or preserved, dyed or natural colour) and any part thereof are, in relation to the River Ness salmon fishery district, specified for the purposes of the definition of “rod and line” in section 24(1) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951.
