Amendment of the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Prescribed Diseases) Regulations 19852

The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Prescribed Diseases) Regulations 19853 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

In regulation 1(2) (citation, commencement and interpretation) after the definition “medical board” there shall be inserted the following definition:
“metal” for the purposes of the disease number A10 in Part I of Schedule 1 to these Regulations, does not include stone, concrete, aggregate or similar substances for use in road or railway construction;

In regulation 15B(3) (rounding) for the words “Where a reassessment” there shall be substituted the words “Where an assessment or a reassessment”.
