2    i   “the deposited plan”     ,means the plan contained in the the folio numbered HA10/2 WMRO (L) XII marked “The Winchester—Preston Trunk Road (A34) (Stratford-upon-Avon) De-Trunking Order 1990”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;,
 ii   “principal road”   ,as a classification for a highway means that the highway is a principal road for the purposes of enactments or instruments which refer to highways classified as principal roads but is also classified for the purpose of every other enactment and instrument which refers to highways classified by the Secretary of State;,
 iii   “the special road”   ,means the motorway to be provided by the Secretary of State in pursuance of the M40 London—Oxford—Birmingham Motorway (Waterstock to Warwick Section) and Connecting Roads ( No. 1) Scheme 1984 , ( No. 2) Scheme 1985 and (Supplementary) Scheme 1985 ; and,
 iv   “the trunk road”   ,means the Winchester—Preston Trunk Road (A34).,
