The Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1990
Title and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 2nd November 1990.
Specified Body2.
The Local Government Management Board is hereby specified for the purposes of section 76(4) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988.
Revocation3.
“(a)
The Local Government Training Board;”
“(d)
The Local Authority Management Services and Computer Committee (LAMSAC);
(e)
The Local Authorities' Conditions of Service Advisory Board;”.
Sections 78 and 79 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 provide for revenue support grant to be payable to any body which provides services for local authorities and which is specified by the Secretary of State in regulations.
These Regulations specify the Local Government Management Board. The Rate Support Grant (Specified Bodies) Regulations 1988 are revoked in so far as those Regulations specify the Local Government Training Board, the Local Authority Management Services and Computer Committee (LAMSAC), and the Local Authorities' Conditions of Service Advisory Board.
