The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred on them by section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:
1.—(1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 1990 and shall come into force on 22nd October 1990.
(2) This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
2.—(1) From the date this Act of Sederunt comes into force, the court of three judges for hearing registration appeals under section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall be the Honourable Lord Cowie, the Honourable Lord Morison and the Right Honourable the Lord Morton of Shuna.
(2) From the date this Act of Sederunt comes into force, the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 1989(2) is revoked.
