The Buckinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1990
Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Buckinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1990.

For all other purposes this Order shall come into force on 1st April 1990.
Interpretation2.
In this Order–
“boundary map” means the map prepared by the Department of the Environment, marked “Map of the Buckinghamshire (District Boundaries) Order 1990” and deposited in accordance with regulation 5 of the Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976;
“county electoral division” means an electoral division of the county of Buckinghamshire.
Transfers from Chiltern to South Bucks3.
(1)
The parts of the district of Chiltern and the parish of Penn marked A2, A3, A4 and A5 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a)
the district of South Bucks and the Beaconsfield North ward of that district;
(b)
the parish of Beaconsfield and the North ward of that parish;
(c)
the Beaconsfield county electoral division;
(d)
the Burnham petty sessional division.
(2)
The part of the district of Chiltern and the parish of Penn marked A1 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a)
the district of South Bucks and the Beaconsfield West ward of that district;
(b)
the parish of Beaconsfield and the West ward of that parish;
(c)
the Beaconsfield county electoral division;
(d)
the Burnham petty sessional division.
Transfer from South Bucks to Chiltern4.
The parts of the district of South Bucks and the parish of Beaconsfield marked A6, A7 and A8 on the boundary map shall be transferred to–
(a)
the district of Chiltern and the Penn ward of that district;
(b)
the parish of Penn and the Penn ward of that parish;
(c)
the Amersham Town and Penn county electoral division;
(d)
the Chiltern petty sessional division.
Town and country planning5.
Any provisions of a local plan made or adopted by a district council which apply immediately before 1st April 1990 to an area transferred by this Order shall continue to have effect in relation to that area as if they were part of such a plan made or adopted by the council of the district to which that area is transferred.

This Order transfers areas in the county of Buckinghamshire between the district of Chiltern and the district of South Bucks. Consequential changes to parishes and local government electoral areas are made.
The map forming part of this note gives a general guide to the areas affected. Prints of the detailed boundary map (described in article 2) may be inspected at all reasonable times at the offices of the Chiltern and South Bucks district councils and at the office of the Secretary of State for the Environment, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3EB.
The areas transferred to South Bucks comprise approximately 19.24 hectares in total and have a population of approximately 124. The area transferred to Chiltern comprises approximately 1.5 hectares and has a population of approximately 30.
