The Sea Fishing (Enforcement of Community Conservation Measures) (Amendment) Order 1990
Title, commencement and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Sea Fishing (Enforcement of Community Conservation Measures) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 2nd February 1990.

Amendment of the principal Order2.
The principal Order is hereby amended by substituting in article 2 thereof (interpretation) for the definition of the Council Regulation the following definition—

This Order further amends the Sea Fishing (Enforcement of Community Conservation Measures) Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/2090) (“the principal Order”), which makes provision for the enforcement of certain of the enforceable Community restrictions and obligations concerning technical measures for the conservation of fishery resources which are contained in Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3094/86 (“the Council Regulation”).
In consequence of an amendment made to the Council Regulation by Council Regulation (EEC) No. 4056/89, this Order further amends the definition of the Council Regulation in article 2 of the principal Order (interpretation) so as to provide for the inclusion of that amendment in that definition (article 2).
The Order revokes the Sea Fishing (Enforcement of Community Conservation Measures) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/1576) and incorporates its provisions in the new definition (article 3).
