The Legal Aid (Functions) Order 1989

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 3(4) of the Legal Aid Act 19881, hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has, in accordance with section 36(2)(b) of that Act, been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:–
