Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates owners of pipe-lines which are situated above the Thistle and Dunlin oilfields, north-east of the Shetland Islands.

The companies listed in Part I of the Schedule are (except for the apparatus and works and the riser) designated as owners of the pipe-line which lies between the Thistle A Platform, an offshore installation situated above the Thistle oilfield, north-east of the Shetland Islands and the Dunlin A latform, an offshore installation situated above the Dunlin oilfield, north-east of the Shetland Islands and the two pipe-lines which lie between the Thistle A Platform and the Thistle SALM, a single anchor leg mooring, situated above the Thistle oilfield, north-east of the Shetland Islands.

The companies listed in Part II of the Schedule are designated as owners of the riser and apparatus and works which form part of the pipe-line which lies between the Thistle A Platform and the Dunlin A Platform and which are installed on or beneath the Dunlin A Platform, and the pipe-line known a the bypass which is situated above the Dunlin oilfield, north-east of the Shetland Islands and which lies between two pipe-lines.
