The Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 28) Order 1989

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(3) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975(1) (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after giving those persons affected an opportunity of being heard with respect to the matter, hereby makes the following Order:—

1.  This Order may be cited as the Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 28) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 19th January 1990.

2.  For the purposes of Part III of the Act, each person specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto is hereby designated as the owner of the pipe-line described in Part II of the Schedule hereto.

  • Elf Oil and Gas Ltd., whose registered office is at 197 Knightsbridge, London SW7 1RZ.

  • Hamilton Brothers U.K. Petroleum Corporation, whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

  • Hamilton Oil Great Britain PLC, whose registered office is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

  • Hamilton Brothers Oil and Gas Limited, whose registered office is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

  • Hamilton Brothers Petroleum (U.K.) Limited, whose registered office is at Devonshire House, Piccadilly, London W1X 6AQ.

  • Ultramar Exploration Limited, whose registered office is at 141 Moorgate, London EC2M 6TX.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates the companies listed in Part I of the Schedule as owners of the pipe-line described in Part II of the Schedule.

The pipe-line is used in connection with production from the Duncan oilfield, situated east of the Fife Region of Scotland.
