Coming into force
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1(1) and 18(2) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and, as required by section 18(4) of that Act, after consultation with such persons or bodies of persons as appear to him to be requisite, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 19th January 1990.

The stadium in Scotland specified in the Schedule to this Order, being a sports stadium which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators, is hereby designated as a stadium requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.

The Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1983(2) is hereby revoked.
