Coming into force
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6 of the Mineral Workings (Offshore Installations) Act 19711 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consulting pursuant to section 7(1) of that Act with organisations appearing to him to be representative of those persons who will be affected, hereby makes the following Regulations:–

These Regulations may be cited as the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 14th November 1989.

The following table shall be substituted for the table set out in sub-paragraph (a) of the Schedule to the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances) Regulations 19772 and for the table set out in sub-paragraph (a) of the Schedule to the Offshore Installations (Fire-fighting Equipment) Regulations 19783:–

The Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 19814, the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 19825, the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 19836, the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 19857, and the Offshore Installations (Life-saving Appliances and Fire-fighting Equipment) (Amendment) Regulations 19878 are hereby revoked.
