This order has the effect of increasing the Severn Bridge tolls so that (with the exemptions referred to in article 7 and subject to the provisions for compounding tolls in advance in accordance with article 6);a toll of £2 is payable in respect of a goods vehicle having an unladen weight exceeding 1.525 tonnes and for a passenger vehicle adapted to carry more than 16 passengers; anda toll of £1.00 is payable in respect of any other vehicle.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Severn Bridge Tolls Order 1989 and shall come into force on 3rd December 1989.
