The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 17(2) of the Road Traffic (Driver Licensing and Information Systems) Act 19891 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Driver Licensing and Information Systems) Act 1989 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1989.

The provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 8th November 1989.
